Aah was directed by Raja Nawathe in the year 1953.
The movie stars Nargis, Raj Kapoor, Pran and Vijayalaxmi in lead roles.Aah
is an early Raj Kapoor classic, a poignant love story which includes
one of Mukesh/s finest renditions "Chhoti Si Zindagani" pictured on
Mukesh himself as a "tongawallah", carting an ailing Raj Kapoor.Story is
nice, interesting but Awaara of Raj Kapoor is far better. The movie
flats off the absence of mother's love, a shock from the lover side and a
disease wroth enough to fight. All these things keeps your interest
besides the good music.
Music of the movie is given by Shankar Jaikishan.Songs are sung by Mukesh and Ramesh Sinha.The songs, "Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat " and ," Raat Andheri Hai" are very popular and among my favorites.
