The old hindi bollywood movie stars Johnny Walker, Shyama, Shakila, Jagdeep, Jagdish Sethi, Bir Sakuja, Rajendra, Amir Banu, Rashid Khan, M.A. Latif.The movie has a nice story with a lighted heart making the movie go smooth with the audience. The movie is about Kalu a middle class person, how he is imprisoned and how his life lukes.In short, Kalu, who spent time in a prison for a traffic offence, finds a job at an auto maintenance garage after his release and falls in love with the daughter of the owner. However, things begin to get out of hand when he is fired from his job and is then unknowingly hired as the driver of a gang.Its somewhat how the movie goes.The movie was appreciated and was above average at Box Office.

Music is the fantastic part.The songs," Babuji Dheere Chalna Pyaar Mai Jara Sambhalna" and " Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar" are awesome and is at top preference for many music lovers even today. Music is given by O.P Nayyar. Songs are sung in beautiful voices of Geeta Dutt and Mohammed Rafi.

The movie stars Dev Anand, Madhubala, Talat Mahmood, Prem Nath, Durga Khote, Manmohan Krishna, Ramayan Tiwari, Hiralal, Tabassum in lead roles.Movie is about Leela a beautiful girl who has three suitors. The first one is Shyam, an artistic painter, who offers her his heart, and a room he shares with his friend, Chamanlal. While the trio are busy conning others, Leela meets with Sita, who is a Rani of a region, she takes a fancy to Leela, invites her to her palace, introduces her to her son, Kumar, who instantly falls in love with her. When Leela indicates that she loves Shyam, Kumar and his mom conspire to be friendly with Shyam, help him put up his paintings in his very own art gallery, so as to win over Leela. Before Leela could make up her mind, she is abducted by her third suitor, a hoodlum by the name of Bhagwan - who has no intentions whatsoever of releasing Leela for any amount of ransom, and wants to make her his at any cost.Thus, the story is about what decision she takes?, who finally gets Leela? and all. The movie is good with an ancient concept somewhat like fairytale stories.


Music is nice and has the smell of 1950's. It is given by Anil Biswas.Songs are sung bu Mukesh.

The movie stars Prem Nath, Ameeta and Shashikala in lead roles.This old hindi bollywood movie is a family packed drama with spice of action.Among the rarest films of 1950's this movie is a worth watch. Full duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes the movie makes the background sound when seen in black and white.Unlike the review for other movies i would tell you to enjoy it watching rather then simply reading.

Music of the movie is given by Sardar Malik. Songs are awesome and have the taste of old Indian music.

Movie Review:

The movie Adalat is a romantic as well as the story of sufferings of a simple beautiful girl Nirmala.The movie revolves around he girl and shows her love and her sufferings.Movie starts with Nirmala (Nargis) who lives alongwith her mother who is a widow, her maternal uncle and his wife. She studies in Arts College where she meets a handsome young guy named Rajinder R. Singh (Pradeep Kumar). Both falls in love with each other and plan to marry. When her aunt comes to know that she loves someone, she disapproves him as she wants to marry Nirmala with an uneducated villager. But Nirmala refuses to marry and soon finds a job at Sada Bahar Nurtya Vidyalaya as a teacher. But to her shock Sada Bahar Nurtya Vidyalaya turns out to be a front for a brothel. This landing her in prison where she gets off with a not guilty verdict.But she is thrown away from her house which results her mother’s death due to the shock.Then she is pimped by Pandit Kedarnath who wants her. The story takes a turn hen she gives birth to baby boy after being thrown out of her house.Overall, the movie is good.It was popular and was nominated for awards.

Music And Singers:

Music of the movie is given by the famous music director Madan Mohan. Songs are well sung by Asha Bhosle, Geeta Dutt, Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammad Rafi.

Movie Review:


The very old hindi bollywood film Afsana is a family drama movie with spice of double role played by Ashok Kumar.Movie starts with two brother named Ratan and Chaman (Rattan Kumar). Both of them are twin brothers and have the same faces. Both of them like the same girl named Meera (Veena). One day they all go to the fair near their accomodation location but unfortunately are separated. Later Chaman and Meera are successfully found but Ratan is still missing and it is hard to locate him. Now several years later, Chaman (Ashok Kumar) who is very attracted towards Meera, is now attracted to a dancing girl named Rasily (Cuckoo) and Meera is mere a friend in his life. Here Meera still believes that Ratan is alive and one day will come back to her and will say what she wants to listen from him.But the destiny has decided something else and unexpectedly, Chaman (also Ashok Kumar) gets into a fight with another man. Later he ends up with killing him and runs away. Later police gets involve in this murder case and starts the investigation. Misunderstandings are clarified and the law declares this to be an accidental death, and as a result Chaman returns. But Meera is shocked to see Chaman back who has now changed. He has also lost his interest in Rasily and attracts towards Meera. Now thw question is could it be that Ratan has returned in place of Chaman and if it is true then what happened to Chaman.And thus the movie gains allot of interest. Movie is good and worth watching.It was popular during its time.

Music of the movie is composed by Husanlal Bhagatram. Songs are sung beautifully in voices of Shamshad Begum, Lata Mangeshkar, Mukesh and Mohammad Rafi.
